St. Simons Island is one of Georgia's renowned Golden Isles and is also the largest of the Golden Isles. St. Simons is a barrier island with a moderate climate and an average year-round temperature of 67° F, making it ideal for visitors and locals who enjoy its natural beauty throughout the year.

Parris Island is one of the most visited military facilities in the world, hosting more than 120,000 visitors a year. It is an 8,095 acre military installation located approximately 5 miles south of Beaufort. In addition to a tour of the base, you will stop at the amazing Parris Island Museum. Here, you will learn about the long and rich legacy of the marine corps. Thousands of artifacts, images, and other materials illustrate the varied stories within the exhibit galleries.

This 200-year-old landmark is one of the oldest continually-operating theaters in the entire country. Most recently restored in 2002 to install state of the art lighting and sound systems, today's Savannah Theatre puts on a variety of musicals throughout the year.
