During your tour, your guide will take you through this rustic and warm three-story mansion that contains 18 rooms, seven bathrooms, and two full kitchens. The mansion includes a variety of rooms designed solely for entertainment, including a media room, indoor shooting range, indoor pool, and spa. The Great Room has 35-foot ceilings as well as a library, fireplace, and game tables. The rooms of the mansion are packed with various music memorabilia and mementos, and you can even touch many of the items. You will get to see up close the personal keepsakes and items of artists like Jewel, Alabama, Big & Rich, Old Dominion, Kenny Chesney, and more. Your guide will discuss the history and architecture of the mansion, the guests who have stayed there over the decades, and much more.
Many rooms remain as they would have looked when the Mandrell family lived in the mansion. There is still clothing hanging in closets and family photos on dressers in bedrooms. The tour is designed for all ages, and taking pictures and video as well as sitting on furniture is permitted. Because you can touch items in the mansion, it is sometimes referred to as a living museum.
