Permanent Exhibits

Visitors of the stunning CSS Alabama Cannon get an upclose look of Confederate Naval History - the centerpiece being a cannon approximately 10 feet long 5,000 pounds.  It is from the Civil War commerce raider ship the CSS ALABAMA.

The Mary Jane Slaton Inge Gallery displays some of the finer things of life in Old Mobile, such as Boehm porcelain, Baccarat crystal, Limoges china, sculptures, paintings and other decorative arts.

The Friedman Miniature House Gallery is an amazing story.  Aaron B. Friedman built the houses for his granddaughters and were later donated to this Museum. This exhibit also features the toy collection and some impressive miniatures of Mobile and Alabama mansions. You will come to marvel at the remarkable craftsmanship!

As you explore the exhibits, be sure to notice all items on display in the halls and on the walls such as the furniture, antique silver and artwork.
