During the 90 minutes on-site your guests will have the following opportunities
Medical History Tour:
This tour focuses on the medical practices of Dr. Edwin Remick and his, son Edwin C. Remick, who practiced out of the historic Captain Enoch Remick House (c. 1808) located on our property. Guests will enjoy a presentation about the history of the father and son and their medical endeavors, and have a chance to be guided through the first floor medical offices that both doctors used starting in 1904.
Dairy History Tour:
This tour focuses on the dairy practices at the farm -- both past and present. Guests will tour a historic barn where dairy cattle are presently milked and meet some of the herd. They will then view the original dairy equipment in the Milk House used by Dr. Edwin C. Remick and his farm team as part of his Hillsdale Dairy operations.
Guests will have time to explore the farm and museum spaces on their own. Options include visiting the museum store, exploring the museum center exhibits, or enjoying the historic gardens, walking trails, and farmscape.
