The One World Observatory Experience

You will first be transported from ground level to the top via a SkyPod, an elevator that climbs the 102 floors in a mere 47 seconds. In the SkyPod elevator, the LED screens that surround you show a time lapse video of 500 years of New York City history, outlining the transformation from untouched land to a small settlement, then to a small city and the modern metropolis that we know today.

Upon arrival at the top, you will be 1,250 feet above ground and can enjoy spectacular 360 degree views of the iconic sights of New York City, including the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and more. You will also be able to see New Jersey as well as Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island, the other four boroughs that make up New York City. The observatory is highly interactive, as HD video monitors and a device called Sky Portal provide high definition imagery to tell you about the neighborhoods and landmarks you are looking down on.

On a clear day, you will be able to see 50 miles in every direction. Guides are available to provide information, answer questions, and make your visit more enjoyable.
