The Longest Family Feud in History

Upon arriving at the large, rustic theater you’ll notice humorous sight gags like the gravestones, clotheslines and the two-hole outhouse. Chickens, goats and other farm animals can also be seen near the entrance of the dinner theater. Members of staff sporting bib overalls and slouch hats will give you a warm welcome and lead you to your table on either the Hatfield, or the McCoy side of the dinner theater.

Dinning

Once you’ve been seated the fun will begin as staff serve a home-style meal and start to establish the good natured “animosity” between the two mountain clans.  Enjoy fried chicken, country pulled pork, mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, corn on the cob, cornbread, and vegetable soup. Don’t forget to save room for Granny’s special desert and the famous moonshine cocktails served in mason jars.

The Show

As you enjoy your meal, prepare yourself for the show of a lifetime as the actors take the stage. Filled with side-splitting comedy including hilarious lines and sight gags, hoot, holler and join in on the fun as the plot roughly based on the infamous Hatfield and McCoy feud unfolds. Hold your breath as dangerous and comical stunts take place. Clap your hands and stomp your feet with the lively singers and dancers. Or delight in the sounds of the award winning bluegrass banjo player and other talented musicians who play classic numbers like ‘cotton-eyed Joe’ and ‘Fox on the Run’.

The Moonshine Still

After the show, stop by the largest moonshine still in the world located in the theater’s lobby. In the Moonshine Still you can learn about the history and everyday life in the hills through humorous, interactive displays.

Travel Tips

-All areas of the theater are accessible by wheelchair. It is important you let your reservations agent know ahead of time if you or someone in your party is handicapped, so that they can make sure to accommodate your group in the most convenient and comfortable setting.

-Don’t forget your camera. There will be exciting photo opportunities during your time at the dinner theater.
