Before heading back to Navy Pier you will journey past Museum Campus, a 57-acre museum park home to three of the city’s most notable museums, all of which are dedicated to the natural sciences: Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium and Field Museum of Natural History. Shedd Aquarium allows locals and visitors to explore the wondrous underwater world; the Field Museum of Natural History is a museum and educational institution concerned with the diversity and relationship in nature and among cultures; and Adler Planetarium, America’s first planetarium, offers a unique look at the Solar System.
It is important to note that while most of the tour boats are double-deckers with a partially covered overhead, a single-decker tour boat with no overhead covering is also in operation, so ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
