Reynolda Village, Winston-Salem, NC
Enjoy shopping and dining amid the traditional village charm of Reynolda Village as part of the group motorcoach vacation package. Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, near the campus of Wake Forest University. Reynolda Village was part of the country estate developed from 1912 through 1917 by R.J. Reynolds, founder of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and wife Katharine Reynolds. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, today Reynolda Village serves as an educational, cultural and community complex. Honoring the wishes of R.J. and Katharine Reynolds. Its original buildings, modeled after an English village, including dairy barns, a cattle shed, school, post office, smokehouse, blacksmith shop and carriage house have been restored and serve as shops, restaurants and offices.
