Visiting ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy

Begin your visit to ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy with a multi-media audio/visual presentation that will orient you with the American rodeo. Permanent and special exhibits explore the history of the rodeo and what the cowboy contestants must experience to become champions. Be sure to stop by the Gift Shop, carrying ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy merchandise.

Exhibits

Founders Hall

In Founders Hall, you can learn about the individuals, firms and foundations that contributed to the construction and research of the Hall of Fame. Recognized individuals are honored with a bronze bust.

Heritage Hall

Learn about the history of the rodeo and the evolution of the material over the past 100 years in Heritage Hall. Items such as saddles, chaps, ropes, boots, clothing and artifacts interpret the history and evolution of the rodeo.

Hall of Champions

Honor the cowboys in each rodeo event in the Museum’s Hall of Champions. In addition to cowboys, the Hall of Champions honors stock contractors, clowns, announcers, rodeo committees, rodeo stock and other notables of the sport.

101 Gallery

Step inside the Museum’s 101 Gallery, used primarily to display Western art collections and other specially created exhibits related to the rodeo. The special exhibits in the 101 Gallery rotate at least twice a year.

The Outdoor Garden Exhibit

Head outdoors and see ProRodeo Hall of Fame & Museum of the American Cowboy’s Priefert Arena. Between May and October, team roping events, convention rodeos and Wild West shows take place here.

Shopping in the Gift Shop

Shop for ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy merchandise in the Gift Shop. From postcards to magnets, induction belt buckles to bumper stickers, the Gift Shop carries a whole host of souvenirs for you and your loved ones.

Learn about the rodeo, a sport truly born in the history of America, at ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy as part of this group motorcoach vacation package.
