One feature of this is the All America Rose Garden with more than 250 varieties of roses. The Antler Village and Winery is Biltmore’s new village that connects the estate’s present and past, providing a relaxing place for dining, shopping, historical exhibits. A Blue Ridge Parkway experience is unlike any other, a slow paced and relaxing drive revealing stunning long-range vistas and close-up views of the mountains and pastoral landscapes of the Appalachian Highlands. Protecting a diversity of plants and animals, the Parkway meanders for 469 miles, providing opportunities for enjoying all that makes this region of the country so special.

There's something special about Asheville, and the world is just beginning to discover it. This thriving mountain city features an exciting downtown with 30-plus art galleries, a burgeoning culinary scene, a thriving live music scene, and of course, the awe-inspiring scenery of the Appalachian Mountains. The Basilica is on the National Register of Historic Places. The basilica's dome has a span of 58 by 82 feet and is reputed to be the largest freestanding elliptical dome in North America. The inside of the church is adorned with statues of saints, including St. Lawrence, St. Cecilia, St. Rose of Lima, St. Patrick, and St. Peter the Apostle. The basilica is known for its many elaborate stained glass windows, many which were made in Munich, Germany. Behind the basilica is a Mary garden, which contains a life-size white statue of the Virgin Mary.

A Blue Ridge Parkway experience is unlike any other. Amongst other things, your experience will include a short, high definition film called The Blue Ridge Parkway, American Favorite Journey.

The Folk Art Center is a museum of Appalachian arts and crafts located on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, North Carolina. It features many one-of-a-kind handmade crafts and is the most popular attraction on the Parkway, seeing a quarter of a million visitors per year. The Center contains three galleries. One of the Center's main attractions is the Guild's century-old Allanstand Craft Shop, containing 3,500 pieces of craft objects dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The Center also features an exhibition of traditional and contemporary southern Appalachian crafts.
