During the show see Calvin Gilmore, the man who started it all, on guitar. Tangena Church’s powerhouse vocals and Broadway experience will light up the stage. Brad Long’s clear, powerful, yet controlled tenor voice and country style shout “Nashville Star.” Internationally recognized hip-hop clogging group, All That, has recently been featured on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Musical director Gary Brown’s stunningly clear and smooth vocals and wide instrumental range will blow you away. In addition to being an accomplished musician whose range includes fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, harmonica, drums, hammered dulcimer, banjo, lap steel and piano, Trent Wideman is also a comedian.
The Carolina Opry is supported by a state-of-the-art laser show. The blaze of color and movement from lasers in sync with the music of the Carolina Opry creates a one-of-a-kind experience. As The New York Times described it after a one off show in New York “you can really walk out exhilarated.”
