Niagara Falls Boat Tour, Ontario, Canada

Climb aboard a luxury catamaran for a memorable and magnificent experience of the Niagara Falls during our Niagara Falls and Toronto bus trip.

Made up of Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, the Niagara Falls were formed when glaciers receded during the end of the Wisconsin glaciations and water from the Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment during route to the Atlantic Ocean.

While most people know Niagara Falls for having the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the entire world and for its beauty, today it also serves as a valuable source of hydroelectric power.

Voyage to the Falls Experience

Feel the mist on your face and witness the power of the water. Once you’re in Niagara Falls, you’ll descend the scenic Niagara Escarpment to the base of the Niagara Falls Gorge and board a 700-passenger catamaran that will carry you on an elite journey past Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls that together make up one of the world’s most fascinating wonders.

Horseshoe Falls

99 percent of Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls is located in Ontario, Canada while just one percent remains in the U.S. state of New York City. A remarkable 90 percent of the Niagara River flows over Horseshoe Falls after making its way through diversions for hydropower.

American Falls

Unlike Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls is completely within the U.S. state of New York and is small in comparison to Horseshoe Falls receiving only ten percent of Niagara’s water flow. While the American Falls may not be within Canadian territory, breathtaking views of the American Falls spilling water 188 feet into the river can be seen head on from the Canadian side of the border.

Bridal Veil Falls

The smallest of the three falls, Bridal Veil Falls is also located within the U.S. state of New York and is separated from the American Falls by Luna Island and from Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island.

The Catamaran

Equipped with tiered viewing decks that provide a 360-degree view of Niagara Falls as well as an indoor viewing area to protect guests from the mist, you can rest assured that the Niagara Falls Boat Tour will be exciting, comfortable and safe.

Dining

Food concessions and indoor seating are available onboard the catamaran for those wishing to purchase a snack, or light lunch during the Niagara Falls Boat Tour.

Falls Landing Viewing Platform

After your Niagara Falls Boat Tour, take the time to admire the surrounding scenery from the Falls Landing Viewing Platform offering breathtaking views of the Niagara Falls and unique photo opportunities.
