Voice of Magic
Darren Romeo, “The Voice of Magic”, is a nationally known star magician and singer. He has starred in his own show at the Mirage Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, as well as performed at Caesars Palace and the Flamingo Hilton, and the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. As the only protégé of Master Illusionists Siegfried and Roy, Romeo has become one of the most awarded magicians in the history of magic including: “Show of the Year”, two years in a row, from the Branson Critic Association, “Magician of the Year” from the Magic Castle, The Academy of Magical Arts, Inc., and the “Milbourne Christopher Award for Notable Contributions to the Art of Magic” from The Society of American Magicians (SAM).
Lions and Tigers and Magic! Oh My!
Darren Romeo brings a whole new aspect to magic at The Smoky Mountain Opry Theater with the critically acclaimed full scale multi-million dollar production, Magic Beyond Belief! His musical talent combined with disappearances and appearances, levitations, and a miraculous 650 pound tiger interaction are just a brief synopsis of this unimaginable magic show. Celebrity impersonations, comedy, and vocal performances are added to the mix truly making it one of a kind. Darren will also perform a full tribute in the name of Barry Blackstone Jr.’s legacy by performing his famous “Floating Light Bulb” Illusion, as the only magician ever to be granted permission from the Blackstone family to perform this.
